Palestine: Death toll from Jenin attack rises to 5, over 90 wounded

The death toll from Israeli military attacks on Jenin city and its refugee camp has risen so far to five and 91 others injured, Palestinian Ministry of Health has declared Monday.

The ‘martyrs’ are identified as Ahmad Saqr, 15, Qais Jabarin, 21, Khaled Asasa, 21, Qassam Abu Seria, 29, and Ahmad Draghma, 19.

The Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the city and its camp after their attacks had been continuing for 11 hours, eyewitnesses said.

They added that the forces heavily fired live ammunition and a missile at the camp.

In addition, they opened fire at some journalists, wounding one of them, and targeted ambulances, hindering medical teams from reaching the wounded.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army said in, a statement, that its forces broke into the city and detained “two wanted persons”, claiming that seven Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes with some gunmen.
