Makkah, The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has activated the second phase of the “Do the Best” initiative. This initiative is part of the presidency’s third operational plan for the post-Hajj period, aimed at instilling values of tolerance, love, coexistence, and moderation among pilgrims. The initiative seeks to enhance pilgrims’ religious awareness in the field, enrich their behavioural and spiritual experiences, and establish values of mercy among each other with gentleness, wisdom, and good counsel.
The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice at the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque has adopted the initiative by advising pilgrims to cooperate, be tolerant, interact kindly and gently with one another, and avoid causing harm to others. Pilgrims are encouraged to follow religious instructions and the guidance of the Prophet without excess or neglect, using wisdom and good counsel. Also, the initiative aims to correct certain v
iolations that some pilgrims might commit during their acts of worship, to promote and spread correct beliefs and the Sunnah, and to enable pilgrims to complete their Hajj journey in a spiritually enriching and correct worship environment following the proper Sharia principles and the guidance of the Prophet.
