Presidency of Religious Affairs Enhances ‘Walyatawafu’ Initiative with Qualified National Volunteers

Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque strengthened the “Walyatawafu” initiative at the Grand Mosque with qualified, nationally trained volunteers, in accordance with the presidency’s plan for the Hajj season 1445 AH.

This initiative comes as pilgrims converge at the Grand Mosque to perform Friday prayers after tomorrow, creating a worshipful atmosphere for them and enhancing the volunteers’ tasks.

The initiative aims to support the qualified volunteer circumambulators, enabling them to guide the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque and assist them in easily performing their rituals in a secure worship environment filled with humility and tranquillity, following the guidance of the Prophet.

The Presidency of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque in Makkah has supported the Tawaf management with a large number of qualified volunteer circumambulators, working around the clock to accommodate the expected million pilgrims to the Grand Mosque.

It oversees the administrative
tasks related to the circumambulation, monitors their execution, and directly supervises them within the Grand Mosque.

Additionally, it guides them to follow the Sunnah in performing the rituals and adhere to the prescribed supplications and traditions during Tawaf and Saie while encouraging them to exhibit good conduct to showcase Islam’s moderate and merciful aspects.

This reflects positively on Saudi Arabia and its citizens as servants of the Two Holy Mosques, highlighting their efforts in serving the holy sites and pilgrims.
