Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the success of the simultaneous translation project of Eid Al-Adha sermon in 20 international languages to reach around 20 million people, including six million listeners, setting a new record number never achieved in the presidency’s history.
The Deputy President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Supervisor of the Sermon Translation Project, said that the presidency has reached 20 million beneficiaries of the translation project through its digital platforms. The project has immensely contributed to enriching pilgrims’ Hajj experience.
He also said that the simultaneous translation of sermons is a pioneering global project and a major pillar in the world of the presidency, aiming to promote the message of moderation of the Two Mosques and the moral and humanitarian essence of the sermons.
