His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today with the President of “Al-Kashouba” Association for Agricultural Development and Livestock Production, Abdullah Shaybah Kashouba, and a number of the association’s leaders.
During the meeting, His Excellency the President listened to a report on the activities of the “Al-Kashouba” Association for Agricultural Development in Al-Hodeida province, and highlighted the difficulties it faces.
President Al-Mashat praised the efforts made by the association in the framework of coordination between citizens who produce milk and factories that produce dairy products, stressing his full support for this approach, which enhances the self-sufficiency of the country.
He explained that the competent authorities will be directed to assist the association in reaching the level of confidence required for laboratories and factories producing dairy products.
President Al-Mashat called for the establishment of more similar associations, as they represent productive blocs that are stronger than individual production in order to exploit the productive energies of society and turn it into a product, in a way that benefits the society itself with goodness and prosperity.
He also instructed the Chambers of Commerce to create mechanisms for coordination between the factories and the various producing associations to work on the regular use of the associations’ products in the inputs of the factories.
