President Alejandro Giammattei of the Republic of Guatemala received on Friday Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the 9th summit of heads of state and government of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
At the outset of the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Guatemalan president, and their wishes for the government and friendly people of Guatemala for added security and stability. In turn, the president of Guatemala conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for further progress and continuous progress and development.
During the meeting, participants discussed the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed regional and international developments of common interest.
