Makkah: Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met today with Republic of Iraq Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari at the ministry’s headquarters in Makkah.
At the outset of the meeting, the Iraqi interior minister expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving pilgrims and providing facilities that enable the guests of Allah to perform the Hajj pilgrimage with ease, security, and peace of mind.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen existing security cooperation between the interior ministries of the two countries and reviewed topics of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by various officials.
