Qatar announced on Sunday the appointment of Dr. Sultan Al-Mansouri as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the UAE.
The Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani issued the decree today, according to Qatar News Agency, citing a statement by the Amiri Diwan.
Qatar and the UAE have agreed to resume diplomatic relations last month as part of the 2021 Al-Ula agreement.
