HE Chairman of the Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that the committee, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), will start on Thursday the disbursement of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip.
Ambassador Al Emadi said that the cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of USD 100 per family.
His Excellency pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations at the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which are 300 centers and shops.
