Qatar Stock Exchange trading started Tuesday, with a rise as the general index rose to the level of 10,243 points, compared to Monday’s close, with a growth of 0.14%, to add 14.59 points.
Qatar Stock Exchange data showed a positive performance with a growth of 2.12% in the insurance sector, 0.76% in the telecommunications sector, 0.23% in the industrial sector and 0.10% in the bank and financial services sector. On the other hand, the performance was negative for the real estate sector by 0.01%, the transportation sector by 0.18% and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.61%.
At around 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 62.677 million, distributed among 22.993 million shares, with the implementation of 2052 transactions.
