QSE Index Declines as All Sectors Experience Losses

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 47.82 points, or 0.44%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, falling to 10,710 points from the previous session's close. The drop was driven by losses across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, leading the decline was the Transportation sector, which fell by 0.66%, followed by Banks and Financial Services with a decrease of 0.53%. The Telecoms sector saw a reduction of 0.41%, while the Insurance sector decreased by 0.23%. Consumer Goods and Services experienced a drop of 0.20%, Industrials declined by 0.10%, and Real Estate saw a minor reduction of 0.04%.

By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QR 43.953 million, with 16.100 million shares traded across 2,638 transactions.
