Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 43.02 points at the beginning of Sunday’s trading session, with an increase of 0.42% to reach a level of 10,362.30 points compared to the closing of last week’s trading.
The stock market figures attributed the rise in the general index to the improved performance of all sectors, led by the insurance sector, which rose by 0.95%, the real estate by 0.76%, the telecoms by 0.64%, the consumer goods and services by 0.59%, the industry by 0.32% and the transportation by 0.31%. The bank and financial services sector also rose by 0.19%.
At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 3,510 transactions worth QR 119,490,573.858, distributed to 49,593,369 shares.
