RAK DED Implements 82 Community Initiatives and Events in First Half of Year

Ras al khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development (RAK DED) has successfully executed 82 community initiatives and events since the start of the year, aiming at engaging different segments of the society.

According to Emirates News Agency, the events encompassed a range of themes including entrepreneurship, sustainability, public health, safety and security, and the Emirati heritage. Additionally, the department included humanitarian and charitable initiatives in its efforts. These programs were part of RAK DED’s annual plan and were organized in collaboration with various local and institutional partners.

Sami Mohammed Al Rabah, Acting Manager of the Institutional Communication Office, highlighted that the department devises an annual operational plan to include diverse community-focused initiatives. This approach underscores RAK DED’s dedication to social responsibility, enhancing consumer awareness, and fostering cooperative relationships with its partners.
