Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended a performance by Italian pianist and composer Alessandro Martire, titled "Desert Waves: A Musical Journey," at the Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. The event drew a number of ambassadors accredited to the UAE and senior officials.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasized that music serves as a universal language, fostering creativity and beauty, and enhancing human connections across different cultures. He highlighted the importance of the arts as a fundamental aspect of cultural and community development. Sheikh Saud also noted that Ras Al Khaimah's investment in the creative sector underscores its commitment to human development as a key component of broader progress, and its openness is reflected in its support for artistic endeavors.

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah commended Martire for his emotive performance and the selection of classical pieces, which showcased the depth of his musical craft. Martire, in turn, expressed his delight in performing in Ras Al Khaimah and lauded Sheikh Saud's support for the arts and creative talent in the emirate. He acknowledged the efforts to promote cultural dialogue between East and West.
