Royal Saudi Land Forces Bolster Hajj Security Efforts

Makkah: The Royal Saudi Land Forces, through its Military Police unit, are actively supporting the Ministry of Interior’s security measures during the 1445 Hajj season. This collaboration forms part of a broader Ministry of Defense initiative designed to ensure the smooth operation of the Hajj and prioritize pilgrim safety.

Military Police personnel are deployed to manage the vast crowds and organize pilgrim movement within the courtyards of Makkah’s Grand Mosque. Their duties extend to supervising the mosque’s entry points, further bolstering overall security.

The Royal Forces’ contribution extends beyond the Grand Mosque. A dedicated support force plays a vital role in conducting the detection and removal of hazardous materials at land crossings and holy sites.

Furthermore, the Ground Forces coordinate closely with relevant authorities to streamline the reception of pilgrims arriving from Mina. Utilizing meticulously trained crowd management protocols, they ensure a safe and efficient entry process for p
