Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is co-organising the 11th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) alongside DP World, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). RTA has revealed the theme for this year's edition, titled "Bridging Communities." The forum, scheduled to take place from 14 to 15 January 2026 at Madinat Jumeirah, will explore five key pillars through discussions across five main themes and sixteen sub-themes. Registration is now open through the official website www.dipmf.ae.
According to Emirates News Agency, the forum will focus on significant topics such as Sustainable City, Digital Transformation, Jobs of the Future, Technology and Future Trends, and Customer Centricity in Project Management. These topics will cover a range of subjects including Communities of the Future, Artificial Intelligence, Future Smart Mobility, and Blockchain Technology. The event aims to showcase global best practices, innovative ideas, and creative solutions in project management.
Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, emphasized the forum's success over the past decade, highlighting its role as a premier global platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise. He noted that partnering with leading entities enhances global dialogue and strategic cooperation, aligning with Dubai's vision for leadership and future foresight.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, expressed pride in co-organising the forum, underscoring its importance in positioning Dubai as a global hub for excellence in managing mega projects. He highlighted Dubai's leadership in transforming future visions into tangible achievements, particularly in renewable and clean energy sectors.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, discussed the forum's role in shaping the future of project execution and innovation, while Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Board Member at Emaar Properties, affirmed the forum's contribution to Dubai's growth as a global hub for innovation and excellence.
Pierre Le Manh, President and CEO of PMI, emphasized the significance of sustainable communities and the role of project management professionals in driving project success and improving quality of life.
Since its inception in 2014, the DIPMF has attracted nearly 20,000 participants and more than 400 experts and specialists, contributing to the advancement of project management and operational excellence aligned with global standards.
