Russia Alleges Ukrainian Drone Attack Kills One, Ignites Fire at Temryuk Port

Temryuk: One person was killed, and a fire erupted at a sea terminal of Russia's Temryuk port following a drone attack attributed to Ukraine, announced the regional governor. Veniamin Kondratyev reported that three individuals sustained injuries during the overnight strikes in the southern Krasnodar region. Emergency and special services are actively working to extinguish the fire at the sea terminal.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Ukrainian Security Service claimed responsibility for the attack, asserting that its forces targeted the Tamanneftogaz oil and gas terminal in Krasnodar. Drones reportedly hit five storage tanks filled with petroleum products, as well as two oil loading stands at the terminal. Ukrainian authorities have identified the facility as the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in southern Russia.

In a related incident, a fire was reported at industrial infrastructure in Russia's Volgograd region, caused by debris from falling drones. The regional administration, citing Governor Andrei Bocharov, conveyed this information on Telegram. Ukraine's General Staff claimed responsibility for striking an oil infrastructure facility near the town of Kotovo in Volgograd. A fire ensued at the site after an oil treatment and pumping facility was hit, disrupting operations essential for the preparation, transportation, and pumping of oil through main pipelines to Russian refineries and export infrastructure.

These claims, however, remain unverified independently due to the ongoing war.
