Russia Requests UN Security Council Meeting on Arms Supplies to Ukraine

Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on June 29 to discuss the topic of Western arms supplies to Ukraine and their influence on attempts at a diplomatic settlement of the conflict, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky announced Polyansky also confirmed that Russia would return to the investigation into the sabotage attack targeting Russias Nord Stream pipelines, stressing that the matter was not closed.

He noted that Western representatives on the United Nations Security Council were urging that investigations carried out by Denmark, Germany and Sweden into the incident to not be rushed.
