Sabeel Zamzam Project at Prophet’s Mosque Provides Best Water on Earth to Pilgrims and Visitors of Madinah

Madinah: Zamzam water is considered one of the greatest and most blessed waters on earth for Muslims. Since the era of the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, until the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom has spared no effort in serving pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors by providing Zamzam water to them free of charge.

The Sabeel Zamzam Project, located in the southwest corner of the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, is one of the initiatives that the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by the Suqya Administration, has diligently executed. This project ensures that Zamzam water reaches the residents and visitors of Madinah, fulfilling the aspirations of the Kingdom’s leaders.

The project covers an area of approximately 330 square meters and includes three stainless steel tanks with a total capacity of 290 cubic meters, two pressure tanks, thr
ee water supply pumps, two stainless steel filters, and two ultraviolet sterilization devices. Additionally, it features two 350-meter-long feedback lines.

The Suqya Administration offers services to beneficiaries during four time slots: in the morning from 2:00 to 4:00 a.m. and from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., and in the evening from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
