Saud bin Saqr Meets Outgoing Dutch Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today met with Gerard Steeghs, the outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the UAE, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The meeting was part of a courtesy visit by Ambassador Steeghs marking the conclusion of his tenure.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to further enhance and develop their ties in ways that benefit the mutual interests of both countries and promote the prosperity of their peoples.

H.H. Sheikh Saud commended Ambassador Steeghs for his efforts in enhancing cooperation between the two nations across various fields and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Ambassador Steeghs expressed his gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Saud for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him. He also praised the robust bilateral relations between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the UAE, as well as the UAE's significant regional and international standing. He appreciated the cooperation and support he received during his tenure in the country.
