Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed the merger of Gulf Cement Company with the Italian firm Buzzi Unicem S.p.A., a leader in the global cement industry. The event, which took place at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah’s Investment and Development Office, several ambassadors accredited to the UAE, and senior officials.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasized that the merger highlights the strength of the private sector in the emirate and the confidence it inspires internationally.
