Saudi Arabia surveys pilgrims’ satisfaction during Hajj

MAKKAH: Saudi Arabia’s National Centre for Performance Measurement (Adaa) is conducting a survey to measure pilgrims’ satisfaction during the 1445 AH Hajj season. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday that the survey covers 81 services provided by 18 government agencies to understand the pilgrims’ views about the services they receive throughout their Hajj journey, including visits to the Prophet’s Mosque.

Adaa Director General Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Qaoud emphasised the Kingdom’s prioritisation of serving the pilgrims. He noted that Adaa’s year-round efforts include measuring pilgrims’ satisfaction to improve the quality of services offered in Makkah.

The measurement process includes the entire Hajj experience, from permit application and travel arrangements to the performance of Hajj rituals, movement between holy sites, support services in Makkah, the visit to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, and the pilgrims’ departure journey. Adaa’s work extends to evaluating services provided by a range of m
inistries, government agencies, and other entities.

Mobile awareness screens

Meanwhile, the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has deployed mobile awareness screens across various regions of Saudi Arabia to serve pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season. These mobile units offer a range of services to enhance the pilgrim experience.

In Makkah, an awareness bus features an educational content display screen, the presidency’s publications, a dedicated guest reception area, and augmented reality glasses. At the Empty Quarter crossing point, a platform was established with a large display screen broadcasting informative video clips tailored to specific audiences.
