Saudi-Malaysian Defense Military Committee Holds First Meeting


The Defense Military Committee, established by the Saudi-Malaysian Coordination Council, held its first meeting today in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was chaired by Ministry of Defense Undersecretary for Strategic Affairs Major General Salman Al-Harbi and Malaysian Ministry of Defense Deputy Secretary-General for Policy Mohd Yani bin Daud.

During the meeting, held at the Malaysian Ministry of Defense, discussions covered relations and cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries. The meeting focused on ways to enhance relations in the defense field to serve mutual interests, and other issues of concern.

Al-Harbi also held a meeting with Malaysian Ministry of Defense Secretary-General Datuk Seri Hisham bin Ishak, with the two sides discussing bilateral relations and ways to strengthen defense cooperation and coordination.

Al-Harbi also visited the Saudi Military Attaché office in Kuala Lumpur and Brunei, where he reviewed its tasks, roles, and ongoing activities.
