Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, on an official visit to Egypt, today met with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Eng. Ahmed Samir Saleh.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries to develop the industrial sector, and reviewed opportunities for cooperation and the investment opportunities offered by the National Industry Strategy. The two sides also went over industrial integration between their countries, and means to increase the volume of trade exchange and boost industrial exports.
The Kingdom’s non-oil exports to Egypt amounted to more than SAR11 billion in 2022, while imports from Egypt totaled some SAR10 billion.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Osama Al-Zamil, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Nugali and several industry and mineral resources sectors officials attended the meeting.
