The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation(SCMCHA), Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met on Monday with officials and local organizations employees in the capital.
The meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department in the Council, Ali Al-Kahlani, discussed a number of topics related to humanitarian work , organizations, and their responsibilities towards the Yemenis.
Al-Hamli praised the local organizations role , which have advanced their institutions, built the capabilities of their employees, and have become comparable to international organizations.. praising the organizations that respond to calls to quickly provide humanitarian aid.
SCMCHA stressed the importance of local organizations sensing their responsibility towards Yemen, not succumbing to material temptations, sacrificing the security , homeland safety by implementing activities and projects that contradict the values of Yemeni soci
ety, and without the Supreme Council approval.
He pointed out the leadership keenness and the Council on the stability of humanitarian work, taking into account the aspect related to the security, stability, values, culture and identity of the Yemeni people.
Al-Hamli stressed the need to pay attention to institutional building, work on qualifying local cadres, and enhance the work culture for the benefit of the nation and the Yemeni people.
