he Saudi Center for Opinion Polling (SCOP) today concluded its participation in the 77th annual World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) conference in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The conference brought together hundreds of researchers from 51 countries.
SCOP CEO Dr. Abdullah Alhokail presented a scientific paper highlighting the critical need for collaborative research into response rates and their impact on survey results. He emphasized the importance of addressing this methodological challenge given the current disparity in international practices and the lack of definitive solutions from accredited authorities.
During the conference, there was a proposal for SCOP to collaborate with other European public opinion measurement centers on joint research. This collaboration aims to advance scientific standards and practices in the field.
