Scouts’ Public Service in Camps at Holy Sites Strengthens Volunteerism among Young People

Mina: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association’s annual public service program, designed to serve the pilgrims in Makkah and other holy sites, equips scouts with a variety of skills that help them develop, refine their talents, and develop empathy for others.

The general leader of the public service camps Nasser bin Ali Al-Anzi said that the association operates within the framework of government agencies involved in Hajj to assist and serve pilgrims.

He emphasized that the educational objective of the scout work is to help young people develop strong character traits and hone their abilities, foster the spirit of volunteerism, love for work, and service others, as well as the opportunity to express their opinions and ideas on public issues that affect their community.
