SDAIA Utilizes Technology to Facilitate Travel Procedures of Pilgrims from Côte d’Ivoire

Makkah: The Saudi Data AND AI Authority (SDAIA) makes use of a variety of advanced technologies at the Makkah Route Initiative terminal at Abidjan Airport, in Côte d’Ivoire, to facilitate travel procedures for people travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

To do so, SDAIA collaborates with engineers who work in the initiative’s hall in Côte d’Ivoire; it developed high-profile technical systems that align with service requirements. These include the border, Hajj, and passenger registration systems, and luggage equipped with biometric registration devices.

These efforts are part of SDAIA’s ongoing work to enhance its capabilities through continuous innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, and harness them to serve different country sectors, support digital transformation, and ensure the provision of the best services.

Moreover, SDAIA is helping state sectors increase cooperation to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030, which include providing services to pilgrims.
