Sharjah: Sharjah Media City "Shams" announced the organisation of the third edition of Shams Creative Fest from February 6-9, 2025, at Shams Business Centre. The festival will see participation from small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, and a number of creative individuals aiming to support and showcase their projects and talents.

According to Emirates News Agency, Shams Creative Fest will also honour winners of the Shams Award for Arabic Content, celebrating individuals who have enriched Arabic content. The award acknowledges efforts promoting the Arabic language and culture on digital and media platforms, encouraging innovation across various domains.

Sharjah Media City has invited entrepreneurs and creative thinkers to the festival, offering a platform to showcase innovations to investors and experts. This opportunity allows participants to explore collaborations and highlight their creativity, contributing to economic and cultural development.

Rashid Abdullah Al Obaid, Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams), stated that the festival aligns with Shams' strategy to support entrepreneurs and emerging projects. Al Obaid emphasised that the festival is a vital opportunity for participants to embrace innovative ideas and projects, stimulating their pioneering spirit. The festival aims to create a positive societal impact, allowing visitors to meet innovators and talents while engaging in various events.

Al Obaid confirmed that previous editions of Shams Creative Fest achieved success with local participation and large audiences. The festival's continuation serves as a foundation for an entrepreneurial approach adopting innovative ideas and enhancing creative industries, driving business growth supported by Sharjah Media City.

The festival will run for four consecutive days from 17:00 to 23:00, offering events including live musical performances, art exhibitions, workshops, and film screenings. Food stalls will present culinary delights for visitors to enjoy.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions and enter a draw for prizes. The festival will feature performances by renowned artists and musicians from the Arab world, offering a unique artistic experience blending entrepreneurship, culture, and art.
