Dubai: Siddharth Balachandran, Chairman of the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC Dubai), emphasized that the visit of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to India serves as a clear reflection of the extraordinary relationship between the two nations.
According to Emirates News Agency, Balachandran stated that the historical and close ties between the UAE and India have progressed remarkably, setting a global example of constructive cooperation. This development not only benefits both countries but also has wider positive impacts on the region and the world.
He further explained that the shared values between the UAE and India form a strong foundation for ongoing engagement, strengthened significantly over the past two decades. This mutual understanding is evident in the deep respect between Emirati citizens and the Indian expatriate community, resulting in a unique synergy that combines the hospitality of the host nation with the commitment of the Indian community, fostering a dynamic economic ecosystem.
Balachandran also noted that the strengthening of bilateral ties has paved the way for future partnerships. He highlighted significant initiatives such as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and government-led forums like I2U2 as examples of the joint ambition to elevate cooperation to new levels.
