Sharjah:H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, visited the Judicial Department's headquarters to inspect recent updates and advancements.
According to Emirates News Agency, the visit included a review of ongoing development projects and AI-powered services aimed at enhancing workplace efficiency and improving the quality of judicial and administrative services. Key services for customers, such as areas for receiving applications and assisting with electronic transactions, were highlighted.
The Deputy Ruler was introduced to 'Majlisna', a virtual trainer designed to simplify artificial intelligence technologies for Judicial Department employees. This platform provides awareness sessions on AI fundamentals and modern technology usage, with future plans for interactive training and impact measurement through data analysis.
A video presentation showcased an AI-powered virtual assistant for marriage, notary, and attestation services, launched on a pilot basis to improve judicial services and customer interaction. The pilot phase will be evaluated, and feedback will be used to expand these services.
Additionally, Sheikh Sultan was briefed on the 'Athar' initiative, which aims to facilitate access for People of Determination by addressing challenges in using the Public Prosecution's electronic services and offering tailored solutions.
The visit also included a review of new courtroom models at the Court of Cassation, equipped with advanced technology for both in-person and remote hearings, promoting operational efficiency and service quality. Plans to extend this model to all courtrooms were discussed.
Finally, Sheikh Sultan explored 'Al Dar Lounge', a multi-purpose space fostering a supportive work environment, and the new offices of the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council, which offer modern facilities to enhance employee performance and service quality.
