The Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakeer Mohideen Amza, paid a visit today to the Buraydah Dates Carnival organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture’s branch in the Qassim region. The carnival takes place in the dates city of Buraydah.
During his visit, the Sri Lankan Ambassador explored the auction area, as well as the accompanying activities and events, observing the buying and selling operations and the quantities of dates available in the market.
He praised the carnival for its wide range of exceptional events, programs, and activities tailored to various segments of society.
The carnival offers visitors over 35 accompanying activities, providing them with meaningful experiences. These activities involve the participation of young individuals, girls, productive families, and craftsmen.
