Tomorrow, Wednesday, in the hall of the Faculty of Medicine at Sana’a University, the ninth scientific conference of the Yemeni Orthopedic Surgeons Association will begin with wide local and international participation.
The president of the association, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Al-Farah, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the conference will discuss over two days a number of working papers on orthopedic , spinal surgery, accidents and injuries, the effects of war on individuals, joint surgery and how to treat them.
He stated that the conference, in which more than 700 participants, including orthopedic surgeons from various provinces, board and postgraduate students at a number of universities, will discuss more than 40 scientific papers on artificial joint surgery, arthroscopic surgery, complex pelvic fractures, and how to deal with pediatric fracture surgery, as well as micro-surgery of bones.
Dr. Al-Farah pointed out that the conference will include scientific , practical workshops and research di
scussions with consultants on the latest findings in science and techniques in orthopedic and spine surgery.
