Sharjah: The 21st edition of SteelFab, the largest exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa for the metalworking and steel fabrication industries, commenced on Monday at Expo Centre Sharjah and will continue until January 15th. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event gathers more than 600 leading local and international brands, featuring 350 exhibitors from 35 countries. According to Emirated news Agency, SteelFab 2026 spans 25,000 square metres and displays innovations that are shaping the future of the steel and metalworking sector. The exhibition includes advanced steel production equipment, modern metal-forming solutions, efficient laser cutting systems, AI-powered industrial robots, and next-generation manufacturing machinery reflecting the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This year's exhibition sees strong participation from global industry leaders from the UAE, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Turkey, India, Taiwan, and Thailand , along with notable regional and local enterprises. The event is expected to draw over 7,000 industry professionals, executives, and investors. The exhibition also hosts the fifth edition of the 'Best Welder' competition in partnership with ESAB and the Middle East Industrial Training Institute, focusing on technical excellence in welding. Additionally, SteelFab 2026 provides expert-led panel discussions, industry forums, and structured B2B meetings, sponsored by Alaa Al-Din, aimed at fostering partnerships and integrating local manufacturers into global supply chains.
