Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree that formally approves the overall organisational structure of the Sharjah Museums Authority.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Emiri Decree outlines the general organisational framework for the Sharjah Museums Authority. Following this directive, the Sharjah Executive Council is set to take significant steps. These include developing a detailed organisational structure for the Authority and making necessary decisions to execute the Decree, such as approving job descriptions that align with the responsibilities of the Authority’s organisational units.

Additionally, the Emiri Decree allows for the establishment, merging, or dissolution of any organisational units reporting to the departments specified within the general organisational structure. The Sharjah Executive Council will oversee these decisions to ensure they align with the Authority’s framework and objectives.
