Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Welcomes Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed in Muscat

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, received H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, at Al-Baraka Palace in Muscat. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan is on an official visit to Oman leading a high-level delegation.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sultan Haitham expressed his appreciation for the strong bonds between Oman and the UAE. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan conveyed greetings from UAE leaders, emphasizing their wishes for Oman’s continued growth.

The meeting highlighted the strengthening bilateral relations founded on historical ties. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including economic, commercial, tourism, cultural, and knowledge domains, aiming to support development in both nations.

Sheikh Hamdan noted the visit’s significance in underscoring the depth of relations between the two countries. He stressed the shared commitment to coordination and the exchange of development experiences, reinforcing strategic priorities, and expanding Gulf cooperation for sustainable development.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to him and his delegation, wishing Oman continued progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by several dignitaries from Dubai, highlighting the importance of the visit.

Earlier, Sheikh Hamdan was welcomed in Muscat by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Tariq Al Said, Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth.
