Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetic Limbs Center Provided Services to 348 Beneficiaries in Marib, Yemen in July

In July 2023, the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Yemen’s Marib Governorate, provided a range of medical services to 348 Yemeni individuals who had experienced limb loss.

To date, the centre has assisted a total of 1,307 Yemeni citizens, comprising 73% men and 27% women. Among the beneficiaries, 82% were displaced persons, while 18% were residents. The centre’s services encompassed the manufacturing and fitting of prostheses, with 94 patients undergoing rehabilitation through physiotherapy, and 254 patients receiving specialized consultations.

These efforts are part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives in Yemen, facilitated through KSrelief, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
