Taiz province commemorated the day of the mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, with rhetorical activities, in six squares in the districts of Khadir, Maqbana, Al-Ta’aiziya, Maweyah, Shar’ab al-Salamand Shar’ab al-Rawna under the slogan” Of whomsoever I had been Master (Mawla), Ali here is to be his Master.”
The squares witnessed mass gatherings of the people of the province, who flocked to them from all villages and isolation to celebrate this memory and renew loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
The participants in the festive activities considered this anniversary as a station for drawing inspiration from the approach and biography of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in patience, steadfastness, and jihad for the sake of God to confront the forces of domination and arrogance, stressing that the Day of Wilayah is the day of completing religion and completing grace.
They affirmed that their loyalty to the owner of the memory is an inseparable part of their faith identity that binds them to Al al-Bayt, peace be upon them.
And in the event that embraced the residents of the Eastern Muraba’a directorates in the Khadir district and was presented by members of the parliament Abdulaziz Qassem Al-Junaid and Muhammad Al-Junaid, Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi confirmed that this day was chosen by God Almighty for the mandate of the best of His creation over the best nation brought out to people.
He pointed out that Wilayah Day is a day of support for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace… He said, “The sons of Taiz, as they celebrate this memory in six arenas, express their pride and adherence to the values and principles that this great occasion bears.”
He added, “The mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is a protection against the plans of the nation’s enemies who want to destabilize it, divide its people, and plunder its wealth and resources.”
In addition, ceremonial and rhetorical activities were held in the districts of Ta’aiziya, Salah, Maqbana, Sha’ab Al-Salam, Sha’ab Al-Rouna, and Mawiyah, in commemoration of Wilayah Day,which were attended by a number of members of the Shura Council and deputy governors of the province.
