Abu dhabi: TAQA Distribution, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), has partnered with Aldar to develop sustainable, integrated communities in Abu Dhabi. The strategic agreement was formalized with signatures from Omar Al Hashmi, CEO of TAQA Distribution, and Adel Abdulla Albreiki, CEO of Aldar Projects.
According to Emirates News Agency, this partnership will focus on improving utility delivery and long-term operational efficiency within Aldar's infrastructure portfolio. TAQA Distribution will leverage its expertise in utility network planning and operation, offering solutions for electricity and water supply, evaluating infrastructure designs, and supporting private utility networks. The collaboration will also explore the integration of sustainable and energy-efficient technologies.
The partnership is also set to enhance cost-efficiency and utility service management through the use of advanced digital tools and analytics. Omar Al Hashmi emphasized that this agreement aligns TAQA with a key development partner to deliver infrastructure that meets the needs of Abu Dhabi's growing population.
