The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The report expected a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail showers in parts of the Jazan and Asir regions. At the same time, the sky will be partly cloudy, with thunderstorms interspersed with rain, preceded by active winds that limit the horizontal visibility over parts of the Tabuk and Al-Jawf regions. The effect of active winds that raise dust continues to limit the horizontal visibility in parts of the Northern Border regions, Hail, Qassim, and Madinah, and parts of the Makkah region, especially the coastal ones.

The report indicated that the movement of surface winds on the Red Sea is southwesterly to northwesterly, at a speed of 15-30 km/h in the northern part, and north-to-northwesterly, at a speed of 15-45 km/h in the central and southern part. The wave height is from half a meter to a meter in the part. The state of the sea is light waves in the northern part, and waves are medium to wavy in the central and southern parts.

The report added that the movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf would be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the northern part, northwesterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h in the central part, and southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-35 km/h in the southern part. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition is light to medium.
