Hebron – Ma’an – Israeli occupation forces arrested three citizens, including a child and a girl, this morning, and arrested three foreign activists in the village of At-Tuwana, south of the city of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested activist Hafez Al-Harini, his daughter Qamar, his son Abdul Halim, and three foreign activists.
The sources added that the arrest took place after a group of settlers expelled the Al-Harini family from their land and set up a mobile home.
In a related context, groups of settlers attacked farmers in the “Fateh Sidra” area, east of Yatta city.
The coordinator of the popular and national committees to resist the wall and settlements in southern Hebron, Rateb Al-Jabour, reported that the settlers grazed their sheep in the area, destroyed farmers’ crops, and broke an unspecified number of fruit trees, in addition to vandalizing the drinking water tanks of citizen Farid Al-Hamamdeh.
Al-Jabour confirmed that the settlers today placed a mobile home (c
aravan) in the ‘Sadat al-Tha’la’ area, in what appears to be a prelude to establishing a new settlement outpost in the area.
