Beijing: TRENDS Research and Advisory has conducted two significant dialogue sessions with China's Xiaomi Technology Centre and Tsinghua University to strengthen strategic partnerships and enhance intellectual and academic collaboration between the UAE and China. This initiative was part of TRENDS's involvement in the UAE-China Think Tank Summit, organized by the UAE Embassy in Beijing.

According to Emirates News Agency, the first session with the Xiaomi Technology Centre, the research and development division of the global company Xiaomi, concentrated on the potential for cooperation in digital innovation and technological transformation. The discussions highlighted the exchange of expertise and research in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, aiming to utilize these areas to support sustainable development goals and promote economic growth.

The second session, in collaboration with Tsinghua University, a globally recognized institution, explored opportunities for academic and research cooperation in global thought and political studies. The dialogue focused on sharing research and scientific expertise and discussed the possibility of implementing joint research projects that align with the strategic interests of the UAE and China. These efforts are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of regional and international issues.
