TRENDS opens office in Buenos Aires

Abu dhabi: TRENDS Research and Advisory inaugurated a new office in Argentina to expand its global reach and establish connections with research centres in that region. This coincided with research dialogues with several leading Argentine think tanks, most notably the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI).

The TRENDS office in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires and the research dialogues aimed to strengthen cooperation between TRENDS and Argentine institutions in academic research, strategies, and technology and explore ways to collaborate in training and research consultancy.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, stated that opening the office in Buenos Aires is an essential step in the Center’s journey to build global research partnerships.

He expressed his hope that the new office, which will operate remotely, will serve as a platform for close communication with research and academic institutions in Argentina on areas of mutual interest. This will contribute to a better under
standing of events, provide insights, and help shape the future through scientific approaches.

TRENDS researchers held a panel discussion with the CARI, focusing on the importance of academic research and exploring training, consultancy, and expertise exchange. They also discussed implementing joint research projects that would benefit both sides.

Subsequently, a research partnership agreement was signed with the council, outlining areas of cooperation and communication through TRENDS’ office in Buenos Aires. The agreement includes exchanging expertise, information, and research, conducting training courses, and implementing joint consultancy projects.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of TRENDS, and Dr. Paulo Botta, Director of the Middle East Committee at CARI.

Dr. Botta emphasised the vital role of research institutions in strengthening international relations.
