Abu dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has announced that the Tropical Cyclone ‘Shakti’ has weakened to a tropical depression over the western Arabian Sea. It is currently centered at 19° north latitude and 60.5° east longitude, with wind speeds around the center ranging between 30 and 40 km/h.
According to Emirates News Agency, the latest updates from the Centre indicate that the tropical depression is expected to dissipate within the next six hours. It is anticipated to become a low-pressure system, moving southeast-east with wind speeds between 20-30 km/h.
The Centre has confirmed that Tropical Cyclone ‘Shakti’ poses no impact on the country.
