Turkish Defense Ministry announced the arrest of five militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on the borders of Iraq and Syria.
The ministry remarked that Turkish armed forces were able to arrest two PKK militants in Operation Claw-Lock in northern Iraq, and three other PKK and YPG members in Operation Olive Branch in northern Syria.
However, Turkish forces have been conducting security operations to hunt PKK militants on the northern parts of Iraq and Syria for years, launching several operations, including Operations Euphrates Shield and the Olive Branch.
