Abu Dhabi:Humaid Obaid Abu Shibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority, welcomed several international officials at the authority's headquarters during the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. According to Emirates News Agency, the officials included Stefan Blättler, Attorney-General of Switzerland; Monica Juma, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); Leonard Gaoretelelwe Lekgetho, Head of the Special Investigating Unit of South Africa; and Danny Woo Ying Ming, Commissioner of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation and sharing expertise in areas of mutual interest, which contributes to increased international collaboration and knowledge-sharing among the relevant authorities. These meetings are part of the UAE Accountability Authority's initiatives to foster international partnerships, broaden cooperation areas, and exchange expertise with other authorities and i nternational organizations.
