Cairo: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt in Cairo to discuss strengthening the fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. The leaders focused on enhancing cooperation across various sectors, particularly in developmental, economic, and investment fields, to serve shared interests and meet their peoples’ aspirations for progress and prosperity.
According to Emirates News Agency, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to bolstering the close ties between their nations and advancing cooperation in all fields. President El-Sisi hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of Sheikh Mohamed and his delegation, further emphasizing the significance of the visit.
The meeting was attended by members of Sheikh Mohamed’s delegation, including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and other prominent UAE officials. The Egyptian side was represented by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, along with several ministers and senior officials.
At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan departed from Cairo International Airport, where he was seen off by President El-Sisi and other senior officials.
