Abu dhabi: The UAE's Minister of Economy and Tourism, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, held a bilateral meeting with Milun Zogovic, Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development of Montenegro, to discuss prospects for enhancing economic cooperation and expanding partnerships in key sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions focused on priority economic sectors such as transport, logistics services, renewable energy, telecommunications, and information technology. Both parties aimed to support sustainable growth for their economies and enhance competitiveness in Europe and the Middle East.
The meeting also explored opportunities for cooperation in infrastructure development and projects related to logistics services integration and connectivity. The exchange of expertise and best practices was highlighted as a crucial element of this cooperation.
The importance of continued coordination between government entities and the private sector in both countries was emphasized. This coordination is expected to open new investment opportunities, facilitate business activities, and advance priority initiatives and projects, contributing to economic development and expanding partnerships between the United Arab Emirates and Montenegro in the future.
