Abu Dhabi:UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands engaged in a phone conversation today.

According to Wam, the discussion focused on enhancing bilateral ties, especially in economic and development areas, to support mutual interests and the prosperity of both nations.

The leaders also addressed the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference, which the UAE will host in December, emphasizing their commitment to cooperation in water management and sustainable development.

Additionally, they discussed regional and international issues, particularly developments in the Middle East, and stressed the importance of regional security and stability to achieve lasting peace.
