Gerardo Zamora, Governor of Santiago del Estero, Argentina, said his country and the UAE have deeply rooted strategic ties that are advancing in many areas, including the economic, investment and commercial sectors.
In an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Zamora, who is visiting the country leading a trade delegation from Argentina, stressed that the UAE is a leading country on the international investment map.
He highlighted his country’s keenness to boost cooperation with the UAE and promote its the relationship into a comprehensive strategic partnership. He expressed his admiration for Abu Dhabi as a distinguished economic model to be emulated globally and noted that the emirate has accomplished pioneering achievements in various areas.
Zamora said the visit of the Argentinian delegation to the UAE coincides with his country’s National Day celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai, underscoring the strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
His country’s delegation is currently discussing boosting cooperation between the two countries, through a series of meetings, he said in conclusion.
